Description:
Catch the aura of the moon goddess and keep her as a charmed pendant nearby. The exquisite yet subtle glow of Lucite cabochons will mesmerize anyone gazing into them. By utilizing the new Demi bead sizes to delicately bezel the centerpiece and adding a flaming circle of Rizo beads, these pendants request adulating attention. Gracefully suspended from a RAW chain, the necklace can be worn long or quickly shortened with a center knot. A handmade toggle closure adds some extra textured vibrancy.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to bezel a cabochon using circular peyote and picot fringe stitches. The chain is right-angle weave (RAW) with a peyote stitch toggle as the closure.
Prerequisites:
Able to work with small beads.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, assorted beading needles, beading mat, Fireline 8 lb. test, scissors, task lamp.
Materials in Kit:
24 mm round Lucite cabochon; 8/0, 11/0 seed beads in two colors; 11/0 Demi beads in two colors; Rizo beads; 11/0 metallic beads.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
