May Brisebois

May Brisebois May first picked up beading in late 2001 as a hobby. Before long she was offered to teach by a local bead store in 2003. Later the same year she started working at a bead store after her family was relocated to Massachusetts by her husband’s job. Early 2005, her family was relocated to Atlanta. In mid 2006, she opened her own bead store providing north Georgia full-service jewelry making classes and beading supplies. In addition to running a retail business, online mail order service also joined the following year. May invited renowned instructors, such as Laura McCabe, Kimberly Stathis, Meggie Meister, Liisa Turunen, Sabine Lippert, etc. to give workshops at her store in order to benefit local beaders. 2014 May started trying her hands on designing and wholesaling her own line of findings. When she was not exhausted, she created beadwork and contributed to bead magazines. LOL After twelve years of successful and intense retail business, May decided to focus her energy on designing, both workshops and unique items for bead industry. April 2018, BEADiful closed the brick-and-mortar portion of business and became an online entity only.
