Susan Wade

Susan Wade Sue Wade of northwest Indiana has been making unique jewelry for over a decade. For a number of years, she managed a regional bead shop and taught jewelry-making classes. Sue has been selling her work at local art fairs for many years. An avid supporter of other local artists, she incorporates their handmade lampworked beads into many of her jewerly designs.

Sue is a self-professed "tool and bead-aholic" and loves to explore the many different forms of jewelry design. She is always on the hunt for unique items to incorporate into her designs, and looks at everything a little differently than she used to, especially in antique and resale shops where treasures can abound.

Sue recently opened her own studio in Griffith, Indiana, which focuses on teaching various jewelry techniques. She hosts a monthly Bead Club meeting for local jewelry-making enthusiasts to inspire, share, and encourage one another in their passion for all things bead related. Contact Sue at her website.
