Beth Stone

Beth Stone Beth is a lifelong beader, descended from a beader, who is also descended from a beader. She cannot remember a time when there was not a bead near her or in her hands, and believes that a day without beads is like a day without sunshine. She been published numerous times in Bead & Button Magazine, and was, for several years a contributing editor of BeadStyle Magazine. She is the author of three books, all published by Kalmbach - "Seed Bead Stitching," "More Seed Bead Stitching," and “Bead Play Every Day." Beth's approach to beadwork is in teaching techniques (and technique variations) and teaching others to find their own beading voice through play and experimentation. She finds inspiration in colors, architecture, microscopic images, shapes, and textures. Beth and her husband, Sheldon, who live in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with their darling dog, Wrigley, are the proud parents of Cheyenne and Sierra, who have flown from the nest to live and work in Chicago and Phoenix, respectively. Fun facts: Beth loves to experiment and play in the kitchen and she loves to build IKEA furniture.
