Kathy Luli

Kathy Luli Kathy Luli has been creating with beads for over 15 years. She started using beads in elaborate historic crochet doll costumes before discovering beadweaving. She still specializes in beaded ornament covers but also designs jewelry. Kathy has been teaching Beadweaving for the last 10 years. She started teaching at a shop in Columbus Ohio where she taught for several years. A few years ago she moved to Oklahoma. She now teaches Beadweaving at a local shop in Midwest City Oklahoma. Her classes include all levels of jewelry and ornaments. Kathy has been an instructor at the Bead and Button Show for the past few years. Kathy’s award winning designs include several ribbons at the 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 Oklahoma State Fair. Her “Wagon Wheels” necklace was awarded Best of Show –Beadwork Division in 2011. She also was first place in the Sova Enterprises Beaded Bead contest with “Green Goddess”. Examples of her work are available at the Oklahoma History Center Gift Shop. Kathy's jewelry has been accepted for a showing at a local gallery.
