Sheet, wire or paste -- chip, stick or pick -- hard, medium or easy. All winners in the case of successful silver soldering, but which one do you use? Well, all three! Kim will discuss and demonstrate the different types of solder, their application and their uses. After this class you will leave with a better understanding of silver solder, its use and function, so that you will be ready for any task.
Students will Learn:
Students will be given the opportunity to experiment with all types of solder, with constructive instruction and guidance while making a sterling silver chain, charm, and toggle.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Materials in Kit:
Sterling wire, sheet; paste, sheet, wire solder; handout. The instructor will provide use of tools and consumables in class.
