Description:
Use 960 Silver Metal Clay to create more than just the basic lentil bead. Students will pierce, set stones, and add openings in their lentil bead. The instructors will discuss the best ways to hang lentils including separate bails, and embeddables.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to use 960 Silver Metal Clay to create several small lentils by utilizing piercing and cut-out techniques; add stones and silver grain; inclusion of resin, and more. Basic lentil construction will be covered and bails will be designed to fit the specific forms created.
Prerequisites:
Basic metal clay skills.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Metal clay tools, writing materials. personal metal clay tools.
Materials in Kit:
960 Silver Metal Clay, use of instructors' personal tools and texture collection, firing and finishing services, written instructions, embeddables.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
