Description:
It can be done and with spectacular results! Join us as we transform a vintage fork into a darling elephant pendant. Silver-plated silverware requires special care. Learn the basics on how to up-cycle silverware (that is too beautiful to just eat with) into wearable jewelry.
Students will Learn:
Learn to cut, file, sand, polish, and bend a silverware fork into an elephant pendant.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Metal files, permanent marker (pointed), task lamp, writing materials. Students are welcome to bring extra forks from home to make additional elephants, time permitting.
Pliers:
Standard roundnose,
Materials in Kit:
Silver-plate silverware, beaded heishi spacer, 3 mm crystal chaton.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
