Additional Information
This class introduces the fundamentals of wire weaving. Students will learn the most basic weave while creating several shapes that can be put together into a fun necklace. Skills learned in this class can be used to create bracelets, necklaces, and bails for pendants. Instructor will provide some pre-made elements so that students can focus on learning the weaving techniques.
Students will Learn:
The focus of the class will be on learning the weaving technique and improving their skill levels. Students will learn the secrets for keeping their weaves even and consistent.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Flush wire cutters, ruler, permanent marker. Recommended: Magnification, task lamp.
Chainnose. Optional: Roundnose.
Materials in Kit:
Step-by-step handout, copper wire in two gauges, chain, hook, jump rings, accent bead, use of instructor’s tools and consumables.
One seat per person per class.
