Description:
Graduated ring sizes and a bias weave is what makes this necklace unique and the perfect drape for your neckline. Create sides independently and marry them together with a solid accent ring. Finish with a luscious gemstone drop.
Students will Learn:
Basic European 4-in-1 weaving with graduated size rings using a bias weave. Each side of the necklace is a mirror image of the other and therefore requires a variation in the weaving technique.
Prerequisites:
Experience with a couple of introductory chain mail weaves is required. Experience with European 4-in-1 weave is very helpful.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Awl, beading mat, magnifier, task lamp.
Pliers:
Flush side-cutting, roundnose, 2 pair flatnose without grooves.
Materials in Kit:
Silver-filled jump rings, silver-filled wire, toggle clasp, gemstone briolette.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
