Description:
You’ll learn one way to marry simple seed bead stitches and lampworked glass beads to create a stunning one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Using flat even count peyote stitch, you will do some beading around beads to add more texture. You will use different sizes of seed beads to create a rope adding the lampworked beads as you go. Then finish off your necklace with lampworked end caps.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to use tubular herringbone and flat even count peyote techniques.
Prerequisites:
Working knowledge of tubular herringbone and flat even count peyote stitches.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, tape measure, thread conditioner, portable lighting, magnifying glasses.
Materials in Kit:
6/0, 8/0, 11/0, 15/0 seed beads; glass pearls; full set of hand-crafted lampworked beads; hand-crafted lampworked end caps.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
