Additional Information
This pendant is created using a traditional Japanese technique to make the Tsumami Kanzashi flowers from kimono material. These flowers are embellished with bead embroidery techniques. This class is taught by a Japanese instructor with a translator.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to create traditional Japanese Tsumami flower parts with kimono material and embellish them with bead embroidery techniques.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Beading mat, E6000 adhesive, magnifiers, scissors, tape measure, task lamp, Fireline 6 lb. test (smoke) or WildFire 10 lb. test (black), #10 beading needles.
Materials in Kit:
8/0, 11/0, 15/0 seed beads; magatamas; Swarovski 8 mm pearls; Swarovski 4 mm bicones; 12 mm cabochon; 6 mm round beads; 8/0 hexagon beads; synthetic leather; artificial leather; kimono material; beading foundation; toggle clasp.
One seat per person per class.
