Description:
Make this popular chevron-shaped hanging pendant by using a diagonal peyote stitch technique. Pendant segments can be customized to create a variety of projects including larger pendants and earrings. This super-modern style will be a wardrobe favorite and you will enjoy combining beadwork with the metal findings to add versatility and movement to your jewelry.
Students will Learn:
Diagonal peyote stitch and some wirework.
Prerequisites:
Students should be familiar with peyote stitch (flat and tubular) to be successful in this class.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, assorted Delicas, bags (recloseable small), bead dish, beading thread, diagonal wire cutters, eye pins, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp, writing materials, zappers.
Pliers:
Bentnose, roundnose.
Materials in Kit:
Delicas, 22-gauge head pins, necklace chain, lobster clasp, jump rings. A portion of the kit is underwritten by TierraCast.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
