This architectural pendant with its swooping pointed arches reminiscent of flying buttresses, uses peyote stitch for the base and cubic right-angle weave for the upper section. Students must be comfortable joining CRAW and placing colors in different parts of each unit as this class will put you through your paces!
Students will Learn:
An easier path for CRAW that is faster than the traditional thread path and results in more even beadwork; how to build a solid support for the spike bead that forms the end of the pendant.
Students must be very comfortable with CRAW and should have some experience in joining the weave. Students should also be comfortable with peyote stitch, both tubular and circular.
Project will not be completed in class
