Additional Information
Designed for the debut of Toho semi-glazed seed beads, this whimsical pendant features a cabochon embellished by daggers, lentils, and a pearl-studded peyote scroll. The pendant is suspended from a hidden bail on a patterned Ndebele rope with a peyote toggle.
Students will Learn:
How to bezel and embellish a cabochon using bead embroidery; how to make a patterned Ndebele rope; how to construct a peyote toggle and hidden bail; how to finish and edge a bead embroidered cabochon.
Familiarity with peyote and Ndebele.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, #12 sharp beading needles, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, Fireline 8 lb. test, magnifiers, scissors, tape measure, task lamp.
Materials in Kit:
Cabochon; Czech daggers, lentils; variety of Japanese seed beads; freshwater pearls; beading foundation; Ultrasuede.
One seat per person per class.
