Additional Information
Japanese seed beads combined with a variety of two- and four-hole beads create the sculptural elegance of these beads that are worked in a combination of quasi-tubular Ndebele herringbone, right-angle weave, and square stitch. The beads make a dramatic statement whether worn singly or in multiples on a neck wire or carrier of your choice. What fun these beads are to wear!
Students will Learn:
How to incorporate the multi-hole beads into a sculptural self-supporting bead; how to embellish the base bead structure and to enclose the ends with simple right-angle weave.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Beading mat, pen, scissors, sticky notes, task lamp. Optional: Neck wire or carrier of choice.
Materials in Kit:
Materials for four different beads: CzechMates Triangle beads, QuadraTile beads, brick beads, crescent beads; O-beads; Japanese seed beads; #12 beading needles; microcrystalline wax.
One seat per person per class.
