Fabricate with rectangular wire to make a fingerful of stackers -- three with tube-set gemstones, two with terrific forged textures, and as many more as you can create during class. This class offers great soldering and ring-forming practice for aspiring metalsmiths -- and you’ll get access to our “secret weapon” tool that makes ring forming a snap.
Students will Learn:
Best practices for ring fabrication and finishing; experiment with hammers and punches to create textures; gain confidence with the torch. Beginners will get experience using a small mixed-gas (propane/oxygen) torch used in many professional jewelry studios.
