Some people like their donuts with sugar or sprinkles, so why not try one with crystals instead? Stunning in its simplicity, the Donut offers a challenge to those who want to practise their CRAW skills and create a beautiful piece of modern beaded jewelery.
Students will Learn:
Working in a monochrome color palette, learn how to incorporate different sizes and shapes of beads into variations of RAW and CRAW to create the stunning circular donut centerpiece, and a beautiful textured rope to suspend it from. All aspects to complete this necklace will be covered in class.
Students must be experienced with cubic right-angle weave (CRAW).
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12, #13 beading needles; beading mat; beading thread; Fireline 6 lb. test; microcrystalline wax; scissors.
Materials in Kit:
8/0, 11/0, 15/0 round seed beads; Swarovski 3 mm, 4 mm round pearls; Swarovski 4 mm bicones.
One seat per person per class.
