Award winning designer bracelet created with three designed wire links -- the hook link, the loop link, and the curly-8 links that can be used in a multitude of designs for future projects. These links can be made very small to create chain or very large to use as components with beads to create a statement piece.
Students will Learn:
How to create three wire links: the hook link and loop link to use as a seamless look in the bracelet design, tied together with the curly-8 link that can be used in a multitude of designs for future projects.
Basic wire wrapping skills; some experience with opening and closing jump rings.
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
6-in. ruler, flush-cut wire cutters, fine-tip marker, work surface. Optional: Steel block, smooth-faced hammer.
Bailing; nylon jaw: chainnose without grooves, flatnose, bentnose; 6-step multi-size step pliers (multi-sized looping).
Materials in Kit:
18-gauge dead-soft copper wire, 18-gauge copper jump rings, Pro Polish pad, consumables, instructions.
One seat per person per class.
