A combination of beadwork stitches result in this intriguing and complex spiral pod, with kinetic bails and an embellished teardrop pendant. Embellished with varying sizes of glass pearls and tiny crystals, the design also includes a pretty beaded chain worked with seed beads, pearls, and crystals.
Students will Learn:
How to create a hollow self-supporting beaded structure; a beaded frame for a teardrop bead; how to create a simple wire link for a kinetic pendant bail. Students will be working in a combination of Albion stitch, peyote stitch, and right-angle weave.
Students should have a basic working knowledge of bead stitches and have mastered thread tension.
Project will not be completed in class

At least 18 years old.

#11, #12 beading needles; beading mat; beading thread; scissors.
Flush side-cutting, small chainnose.
Materials in Kit:
8/0, 11/0, 15/0 seed beads; 2 mm glass beads; 2 mm, 3 mm fire-polished crystals; 8 mm glass pearls; 14 x 27 mm pearl drop bead; 10 mm lobster clasp.
