Dana Rudolph began her jewelry making career as a silversmith. She received her MFA in Sculpture and MA in Art History and was a professor in the fine arts divisions of several colleges in upstate New York.
Beads were always a part of her work, but they became the focus when she opened her first bead shop in Troy, New York, in 2003. After a move to Florida, she opened My Bead Gallery in Englewood. Bead weaving became an obsession and an endless source of inspiration in her work. Dana is most blissful when working with new beads and exploring new techniques. She loves to inspire others to create their best work by learning good technique and honing their skills with engaging projects.
